We are extremely proud to announce that Tailwind Equestrian's Head Coach and Trainer Donna Ferguson has been awarded the

Alberta Equestrian Federation 2019 Outstanding Coach of the Year Award!
Each year, this award is given to an individual that is a current NCCP Equestrian Canada National Certified Instructor/Coach. This individual possesses and demonstrates exceptional mentorship skills with their students, leading by example, and teaching in a positive and
informative way. They embrace continuing education with great importance and empower others to learn and grow in a safe manner. This individual is ethical in all matters and highly regards humane treatment of their equine partners at all times. They continuously strive for what is best for the horse and rider, while valuing the opinions and input of others. They will have focus on the complete development of their athletes (both horse and rider) at all times. The recipient of this award is recognized for their contribution to the sport as an instructor/coach, where their students can be active in competitive sport or are recreational participants.
