What Certification Means

Achieving and maintaining certification as an EC instructor/coach testifies to the instructor/coaches professionalism and competence as a teacher in equestrianism. To obtain a certificate initially, candidates are evaluated at the highest national standard, and must provide evidence of riding ability, a cleared police check, first aid/cpr certification, adherence to the EC code of ethics & conduct, as well as complete professional development as set forth by the CAC.

An instructor/coach who maintains their certification is a professional who is actively involved in the equestrian community.

Donna has over thirty years experience coaching. Specializing in hunter/jumpers with a strong background in dressage. Horsemanship is paramount to all of Donna's programs and resonates throughout. Donna's resume boasts countless show ring successes and provincial awards. She enjoys helping equestrians of all levels reach their equine goals.

Coach In Training

Evelyn is currently working toward her IOB Certification. Evie accumulating mentoring hours by teaching the P'Tit Trot programs as well as some of the Tailwind Equestrian Novice Rider Programs. Evelyn is well loved by their students due to her enthusiasm for the programs that she teaches and her sunny personality. Tailwind Equestrian is excited for the future with this amazing young up and coming instructor.
